Theologie comes from the Greek words Theos, meaning God, and Logos, meaning word, reason or discourse. Together, they form theology: the study of God.
This design was created from the conviction that theology is not reserved for scholars or classrooms. Every believer is invited to know God more deeply through Scripture, reflection and a life shaped by truth.
The restrained definition gives the design the appearance of an academic entry, but the message is personal. Knowing about God should lead us toward knowing Him.
Study becomes worship.
Knowledge becomes devotion.
Truth becomes a way of life.
Not knowledge for its own sake. The study of God, so that we may know Him.
